Lease a Bike, Europe's large provider of company bike leasing, has won the prestigious “Voted Customer Service of the Year” award for the second time in a row. After winning in 2024, the company was able to defend its title in the company bike leasing category for 2025. The award is presented by Armonia Deutschland GmbH, which is selecting the winners of this prestigious service seal in Germany for the fifth time.
August has been a successful month for Team Visma | Lease a Bike so far: the team's riders have put in some impressive performances at the Tour de Femmes, the Tour de Pologne and the ongoing Vuelta a Espana. At the Tour de Pologne, for example, not only was Jonas Vingegaard able to confirm his role as favorite and take a pleasing victory in the overall classification, but a second rider from Team Visma | Lease a Bike, Wilco Keldermann, also finished on the podium.
There are few bigger stages in cycling than the Tour de France, and we at Lease a Bike are proud to support Team Visma | Lease a Bike at this event. The team's participation in this year's Tour de France is particularly exciting, not least because of the impressive performances and the rousing atmosphere that our colleagues Tobias Macke and Dennis Langlets were able to experience live on site.
To coincide with World Bicycle Day on June 3, 2024, the company bike leasing provider Lease a Bike organized the "Bike to Work Days" for the first time. In this fundraising campaign, participants collected kilometers on their way to work by bike for a good cause. Lease a Bike then donated 1 euro to the SOS Children's Village Düsseldorf for every kilometer cycled.

According to the Bicycle Monitor 2023 published by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, one in four Germans between the ages of 14 and 69 rarely or never use a bicycle. This statistic shows that despite the increasing popularity of the bicycle as an environmentally friendly means of transportation, many people still see obstacles to pedaling regularly. The reasons include the weather, the need for regular transportation by car, long distances, fear of dangerous situations in traffic and physical exertion.
