Costs of company bike leasing
Our answers to frequent questions from employers.
What does bike leasing cost me as a company?
Service leasing can be implemented cost-neutrally . If continued salary payments are not made, you as an employer can take advantage of our installment loss protection. This applies, for example, if employees are ill for longer than 42 days and receive sick pay or go on parental leave. The payment protection covers the leasing installments for a maximum of 12 months, provided that the leasing contract has already been running for 6 months. In any case, we will find the best solution for you together, including an individual, cost-neutral return of the company bike.
You also have the option of additionally supporting your employees with an individually definable employer contribution . Find out how here!

Registration
You can fill out the form in just a few steps. We will then carry out a credit check. If the check is successful, you will receive access to our online portal so that you can manage the service leasing digitally.
Portal setup
You define the company guidelines in the online portal. How high can the purchase price of the bike be? How many bikes can an employee lease? You will then receive an individual registration link that you can share with your employees. Registration for company bike leasing is completely digital.
Release
You check each of your employees' registrations and approve them. With just one click! Your employees then automatically receive an individual order code so that they can choose their new dream bike from a local specialist bike shop. Everything else is done automatically via the digital portal.
As an employer, can I support my employees' company bike leasing with subsidies?
Salary conversion
Employees usually lease via deferred compensation, whereby a small portion of their gross salary is withheld as a leasing installment. This “remuneration in kind” must be taxed monthly at 0.25% of the gross list price.
Fair amount
As an employer, you have the option of reducing the monthly conversion rate by making a voluntary contribution, such as the fair amount. The fair amount makes it possible to pass on savings made by the employer.
Salary plus
Alternatively, you can also pass the company bike on to employees as a salary bonus by paying the monthly leasing installments. In this case, employees do not have to pay tax on the non-cash benefit.
Calculate your individual savings.
The advantages of company bike leasing are obvious. Cycling is good for your employees' health. But it's also good for your employees' wallets. Try it out and see for yourself that e-bike and bike leasing can be up to 40% cheaper for your employees than buying. Please note that the leasing rate shown in the calculator is a non-binding calculation example.
