Team Visma | Lease a Bike
Team Visma | Lease a Bike is one of the most successful cycling teams in the world. And we are united by one passion - the bicycle.
Two partners, one vision
Lease a Bike is the sponsor and namesake of one of the world's cycling teams.
Alongside the Pon brands Cervelo and Skoda, Lease a Bike has been the new jersey sponsor of Team Visma | Lease a Bike, one of the most successful and prestigious cycling teams of all time, since 1 January 2024. This means that Lease a Bike can be seen on the jerseys of Wout van Aert, Jonas Vingegaard and Marianne Vos, among others, throughout the 2024 cycling season.

In 2025, Team Visma | Lease a Bike won the Giro d'Italia with Simon Yates and the Vuelta a España with Jonas Vingegaard! Vingegaard went on to win the Giro again for the team in 2026 and is hoping for his third victory in the Tour de France. For the women's team, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won the 2025 Tour de France Femmes.
Team Visma | Lease a Bike has been one of the most successful cycling teams in the world for years. However, just like Lease a Bike, the team is not resting on its laurels, but wants to continue to excel and win races in 2025. Together, we have the goal of getting a little better every day.
What unites us is not just the bike, but also our shared values. We are convinced that cycling has many positive effects and therefore want to get as many people as possible cycling.
Tour de France 2025
The 2025 Tour de France was full of ups and downs for Team Visma | Lease a Bike. With their sights set on overall victory, the riders led by Jonas Vingegaard, Simon Yates, and Wout van Aert made their mark on the world's most famous cycling race this year, securing several stage wins, second place in the overall classification, and victory in the team classification. The documentary Inside the Beehive shows the brutality, emotions, and beauty of cycling up close.
Our shared values
Health
The Visma | Lease a Bike team has set itself the goal of promoting people's health through cycling. Lease a Bike is also convinced that more exercise in everyday life makes an important contribution to well-being and also reduces stress. That is why we are united by the common goal of making a contribution to a healthier society.
Growth
Managing Director Richard Plugge describes the team's philosophy as follows: "Our plan is based on two pillars: Training and growth. We don't just fish from the same pond, we enlarge the pond." Lease a Bike also wants to grow steadily and help as many people as possible to get their dream bike.
Sustainability
Team Visma | Lease a Bike and Lease a Bike both focus on the bicycle as a low-CO2 mobility option. Climate-neutral means of transportation are an important cornerstone of environmental and climate protection. In addition, we are taking further measures as part of our CSR project, for example by planting trees and promoting flowering meadows.
CSR
Social commitment is an important part of Team Visma | Lease a Bike's work. The "Team Visma | Lease a Bike Academy" organizes workshops in schools, among other places, to get children interested in cycling. At Lease a Bike, we also support charitable organizations as part of our CSR project and have donated bicycles to an SOS Children's Village, for example.

The year 2025 at a glance
Spring Classics
The team put in a strong performance in the spring classics and major races. Wout van Aert, in particular, impressed with several podium finishes, as did Tiesj Benoot. While the men’s team was unable to secure a major victory, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won the “Hell of the North”—the prestigious Paris–Roubaix race.
Grand Tours
Things went almost perfectly in this year's Grand Tours. In May, Simon Yates won the Giro d'Italia in the final stage in what was almost a fairy-tale finish. In June, Jonas Vingegaard finished second in the Tour de France; in September, he won the Vuelta a España. For the Women's Team, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot secured the first title in the Tour de France Femmes.
2026: All eyes on the Tour
The year 2026 has already kicked off with two huge successes. First, after many years, Wout van Aert won Paris-Roubaix, a race in which he had often narrowly missed victory. At the end of May, Jonas Vingegaard was crowned the winner of the Giro d'Italia, thereby completing his ‘Grand Tour Trilogy.’ Now, both the Men's and Women's Teams are in the midst of preparations for the Tour de France.
