1. Giveaway and Organizer

The organizer of the “Join the Ride” giveaway (hereinafter the “Giveaway”) is

Lease a Bike Deutschland GmbH, Mühlenstraße 28, 49661 Cloppenburg, Germany (hereinafter “LAB”).

Participation in the Giveaway is subject exclusively to the following Terms and Conditions.

This Giveaway is in no way connected with Meta or Strava.

2. Participation

2.1 Eligible to participate are individuals residing in Europe who: are members of the Lease a Bike Cycling Club on Strava with a public Strava account (https://www.strava.com/clubs/leaseabike),

have recorded a cycling activity of at least 60 km in one go between 15 and 17 August 2025, and have mentioned the Lease a Bike Cycling Club in their Strava activity using the tag @leaseabikecyclingclub.

The organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude individuals from participation if there are valid reasons, for example:

a) manipulation in connection with the execution of the Giveaway,

b) violation of these Terms and Conditions,

c) false or misleading information related to participation in the Giveaway.

2.2 Participation in the Giveaway is free of charge and not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

2.3 Participation is completed by: joining the Lease a Bike Cycling Club on Strava (https://www.strava.com/clubs/leaseabike), recording a cycling activity on Strava of at least 60 km between 15 and 17 August 2025, and

mentioning the Lease a Bike Cycling Club in the activity description using @leaseabikecyclingclub. By doing so, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.

Participation is only possible until the participation deadline. Activities submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The deadline for participation is 17 August 2025 at 23:59 (CET).

2.4 LAB cannot be held responsible for late and/or incomplete entries.

3. Prize and Winner Selection

3.1 The following prizes will be awarded:

1 signed Wout van Aert jersey,

1 signed Pauline Ferrand-Prévot jersey,

1 Limited Edition Giro d’Italia jersey,

1 set of 2 tickets for the Cyclassics 2026 in Hamburg (short or long distance).

3.2 The winners will be determined after the participation deadline by means of a random draw from all eligible participants.

Winners will be notified by the organizer via email within one week of the end of the Giveaway.

If a notification cannot be delivered, the organizer is not obliged to make further inquiries and may determine a new winner if necessary.

Upon confirmation of the prize within 72 hours, the winners will receive all further information from LAB.

3.3 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, supplemented, or modified. There is no cash alternative.

4. Winner Notification and Contact

4.1 The draw is carried out by LAB.

Winners will be notified via the Strava platform by the official Lease a Bike account.

4.2 For this purpose, Lease a Bike will first send the winners a contact request on Strava, mention them in the Lease a Bike Strava Club, and comment under their submitted cycling activity.

To provide the details required for prize delivery, BMS will then contact the winners via direct message on Strava and/or request that they send an email to [email protected].

If no response is received within 72 hours after the prize notification has been sent, the claim to the prize will be forfeited.

5. Exclusion from Participation

5.1 In case of a violation of these Terms and Conditions, LAB reserves the right to exclude individuals from the Giveaway.

5.2 This also applies to individuals who use unauthorized aids or gain an advantage through manipulation – for example, by using automated scripts, hack tools, trojans, viruses, or any other unauthorized methods.

False personal information or the use of fake profiles may also lead to exclusion.

In such cases, prizes may be subsequently revoked and/or reclaimed.

6. Data Protection

6.1 The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(a) of the GDPR (consent).

6.2 For participation in the Giveaway, the provision of personal data is required. Participants confirm that the information they provide is truthful and correct.

After the end of the Giveaway, winners will be asked to provide additional personal data (such as postal address) as part of the prize notification.

The collection and processing of personal data is solely for the purpose of executing the Giveaway and, if applicable, sending the prizes.

All data will be stored only for the purpose and duration of the Giveaway and deleted after the campaign ends, unless legal retention obligations apply.

6.3 Personal data will not be passed on to or made available to third parties without the participant’s consent.

6.4 By participating, participants agree that their names may be announced in the organizer’s promotional media in the event of a win.

This includes announcement on the organizer’s website and social media channels.

6.5 Participants may request information about the data stored by the organizer at any time, object to the use of their data, and request deletion.

A simple written request to Lease a Bike Deutschland GmbH or an email to [email protected] is sufficient.

Upon revocation of consent, all collected and stored data of the participant will be deleted immediately.

7. Premature Termination or Cancellation of the Giveaway

LAB reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the Giveaway prematurely if unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizer’s control occur that make proper execution difficult or unreasonable.

This includes, but is not limited to: unauthorized intervention by third parties, technical issues with hardware or software outside the organizer’s control, as well as legal violations directly connected to the execution of the Giveaway, in particular manipulative interference.

8. Liability

LAB is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in determining winners, delivering prizes, technical malfunctions or service disruptions, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses, or in any other way during participation in the Giveaway – unless such damages are caused intentionally or by gross negligence by BMS (its legal representatives, employees, or agents).

The above limitation of liability does not apply to injury to life, body, or health, nor to fraudulently concealed defects.

9. Applicable Law

The Giveaway is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

10. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible regulation that most closely reflects the economic intent of the invalid provision.

The same applies in the event of any omission within these Terms and Conditions.
